Senior Ionatana Tua gets a kill against King Kekaulike during their 3-1 loss on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Kaʻulaheanuiokamoku Gymansium.

Boys varsity volleyball lost 3-1 against the King Kekaulike Nā Aliʻi, 3-1, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Kaʻulaheanuiokamoku Gymnasium.

Though they were unable to come out with a win on their senior night, there were many star plays where the Warriors showed their killer moves.

Junior duo Craden Kailiehu and Chyalis Min were on fire blocking two back-to-back hits in the first set, each earning points for the Warriors. With two blocks each, they contributed to the 5 total blocks of the game.

Senior Ionatana Tua was rocketing outside hits with a total of 9 kills and 31 kill attempts.

Though senior Keawe Rindlisbacher did contribute a hitting error at a vital point in the game, he came back with a smashing kill to bring the Warriors to just a two-point deficit.

Another standout player was sophomore Hanalei Alapai with 7 kills and 17 kill attempts.

Check them out at their next game to see if they can turn it around as they take on King Kekaulike again on Thursday, April 23, at the King Kekaulike Gymnasium.
