Kelsey Carbonell, senior at Kamehameha Schools Maui, has been a staff writer for Ka Leo O Na Koa for one year. She is also an avid member of the high school Drama Club, spending most of her time singing and dancing in the hallways. Along with her friends she founded the Harry Potter Club, which focuses on bringing the joy of reading and magic to the school. She is always “down to cruise” and you’ll most likely find her tanning at the beach and just relaxing with friends. Although her senior year is almost over and she will be heading off to college soon, she hopes to leave behind a leagacy of optimism, excitment, and laughter to the school that has given her so much over the years.
