Aloha! Anais Conley-Kapoi is a junior at Kamehameha Schools Maui. She is the current president of Hui Ka Leo O Nā Koa, and this is her second year in the club as well. She enjoys writing on a multitude of topics, some being Hawaiian culture, features, and controversial topics. Additionally, she loves spending time with her family and friends, whether it is at the beach, in the ocean, or watching a movie in her pajamas. She is a professional hula dancer and a hālau dancer, and she also paddles canoe. As a Native Hawaiian, she carries the significant responsibility to demonstrate Hawaiian and Christian values for the next generation of ʻōiwi leaders.
