Browns will beat Ravens
December 4, 2015
On Monday night the Baltimore Ravens will clash against the Cleveland Browns in an AFC North battle. The Ravens are 3-7 and are in third place in the AFC North division. The Browns are 2-8 and are in fourth place in AFC North.
Joe Flacco, Super Bowl 47 MVP, leads the Ravens in passing with 2791 passing yards on the season. Flacco has completed 226 out of 413 passes and has 14 touchdowns this year.
Justin Forsett leads the Ravens in rushing and has carried the ball 151 times for a total of 641 yards. Right now, he is averaging over four yards per carry and has two touchdowns on the season.
Steve Smith leads Baltimore in receiving and has caught 46 passes this year for a total of 670 yards. He is averaging over 14 yards per catch this season and has three touchdowns on the year.
Josh McCown leads the Browns in passing this season and has thrown for 1,897 yards this year, completing 165 out of 254 passes. He has 11 touchdowns on the season.
Cleveland is led in rushing by Isaiah Crowell. Crowell has run the ball 107 times, wracking up 328 yards on the ground. Currently, he averages over three yards per carry and has one touchdown this year.
Travis Benjamin leads the team in receiving this season and has caught 48 passes this season with a total of 736 receiving yards. Benjamin is currently averaging over 15 yards per catch and has four touchdowns on the year.
For this game, I’m taking the Browns. I would have picked the Ravens, but Joe Flacco suffered a torn ACL last game against the Rams. His backup? Matt Schaub, and Schaub is terrible. He’s been with Oakland, Tennessee and even Atlanta. With all those teams, he’s been terrible. Those defensive backs on the Browns will be licking their chops.
Update: Ravens 33, Browns 27
