Andy Dalton and the Bengals will improve to 4-0

September 30, 2015

The Cincinnati Bengals will improve to 4-0 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Right now, they’re undefeated, and Andy Dalton is looking sharp. The same cannot be said for the Chiefs, who are 1-2.

They started out hot against the Texans, who were having issues of their own in the season opener. But after that, they kind of faded. When they played Denver, they put up a good fight, but a heartbreaking scoop and score ended their chances of pulling a win. The week after, they got crushed by Aaron Rodgers and his Packers, who are doing surprisingly well without Jordy Nelson.

The Bengals have had a much better start. To open the season, they stomped on the Oakland Raiders, who didn’t even get into Bengals territory until the fourth quarter. After beating Oakland, they went on to face the Chargers, who they squeaked by, and they also beat Joe Flacco and the Ravens. The offense has been really good this season, averaging 414.3 yards, which is the second most in the league.

Andy Dalton has completed 61 of 92 passes for 866 yards and has 8 touchdown passes, in three games. He and AJ Green can lead this team to victory against a struggling Chiefs team.

Alex Smith has 724 yards on 62 out of 98 completions and has 4 touchdown passes. He finally threw a touchdown to a Chiefs receiver this year!

“Last year, none of the Chiefs wide receivers scored a touchdown…”

Last year, none of the Chiefs wide receivers scored a touchdown, which is pretty unbelievable. Jamaal Charles has 231 yards on 48 carries, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. He will be vital to this game, if he can hold onto the ball. The Chiefs defense should give Andy Dalton a run for his money, but I don’t know if that will prove to be enough.
