Girls volleyball head coach Alex Akana talks story with hosts Mr. Kaholo Rickard and Mr. Kevin O’Brien about the adversities she faced as a Division 1 player in college and how that contributed to her success.

As a KS Kapālama alumna, Coach Alex can speak to the challenges of playing both league and club sports in high school, as well.

They are joined by sophomore volleyball player Sofia Stupplebeen (’21), who listens in on the conversation and asks questions about the athletic mindset.
