Sophomore Mika Kane fights his way toward the finish line in the boys 200 yard backstroke. Kane placed 6th in the event at the 2012 Hawaii High School Athletic Association swimming and diving state championship on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at the Kihei Aquatic Center. Along with teammates seniors Keala Kama and Palani Hassett, and freshman Spencer Shiraishi, he also placed 8th in the boys 200 yard medley relay.

Senior Keala Kama swims in the Men 500 Yard Free at the MIL Meet #5 on Saturday, Jan 21, 2012 at Kamehameha Schools Maui. KSM students placed in 12 of the events and qualified for states in the Men 200 Yard Free Relay.

Cordeiro, Kama remain close, just keep swimming
