The Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is perfect for chapped lips in need of rescuing!

Finding the perfect lip balm can be quite the challenge.

There are so many being thrown at you once you enter a drugstore. How do you decipher their mysterious lists of ingredients, their pretty colors, their attractive designs?

Finding a lip balm that saturates and moisturizes the lips, is a challenge. Many just coat the lips with a film that does nothing, or worse, dries them out even more.

I am someone who has struggled with finding a lip balm that works, so I know my fair share about the do’s and don’ts of the lip balms.

First of all, you want to avoid tinted lip balms. Although these claim to both moisturize and give the lips a hint of color, they won’t. They usually just give your lips color and add a glossy finish or dry your lips.

Even the brand I’m recommending, Burt’s Bees, makes these claims, like tint and extra-conditioning. However, these lip balms just make your lips slimy and don’t help with the problem: chapped lips!

Second, don’t pick a lip balm for the hype.

A perfect example of this is EOS lip balms. It seems that a whole bunch of people either have or want at least one, but from what I’ve both experienced and heard, they’re not all they’re cracked up to be.

They’re not horrible, but they require constant application.

So, what is a good lip balm to use?

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm to the rescue!

This lip balm has ingredients like beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, and peppermint oil.

When you first put it on after your lips have been super chapped, the peppermint is pretty intense and invigorating. Soon the product soaks right in; your lips become nice and soft, and they can stretch out into a satisfied smile without cracking into a million pieces.

Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm can be found at your local drugstore or grocery store for around $4.

I love this lip balm. Whenever I’ve been tempted to try another, Iʻm always disappointed and go back to this waxy tube of gold.
