As one of the two survivors from last year’s journalism staff of four people, senior Destinee Murray takes on Ka Leo o Nā Koa as the new features editor.

As an aspiring writer, she hopes to report interesting and important news. With hard work and determination, she plans on meeting the high expectations set last year when the four-man staff took Best in State in the Online Division at the Hawaiʻi Publishers Association awards.

In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and playing video games. Her intended majors for college are English and Psychology.
