Meaaloha McCabe, staff writer
Junior Meaaloha McCabe has been a writer for a long time. In her freshman year, she was a runner-up in the international Jackie Robinson Breaking Barriers essay contest, open to ninth graders from around the world.
More recently, McCabe is the president of Ola Nā Iwi, a club that works to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture.
At school, she is known as the girl who is obsessed with Disney and plans to be a part of the Disney College Program when she graduates.
Her hobbies include watching insane amounts of YouTube–mostly Disney vlogs–going on Instagram, and going on adventures with her family and friends.
Meaaloha is the middle child of nine and is the only one who has had the privilege of attending Kamehameha Schools Maui. She is excited for her first year of journalism and hopes that she will excel.
