Ashley Morishita, news writer
Ashley "Kahaiā" Morishita is a junior this year at Kamehameha Schools Maui. As a first year journalist and staff member of Ka Leo O Nā Koa, she's slowly getting into the groove of things. She hopes that Journalism will help her gain experience in the press work force. Her passion and dream has always been to become a writer.
Aside from writing news stories she has a passion for canoe paddling and loves to swim. When sheʻs off the waters she loves spending time with family and friends.
