Avery Pendergraft is a sophomore and second-year staffer. She is goal-oriented and passionate about the things she loves. In her time here at Kamehameha Maui, she hopes to further develop her education in subjects such as band and Japanese. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, learning new languages, and baking. In the future, she would like to attend Tokyo University of Arts and major in music performance or orchestration.

World-renowned violinist Karolina Mikołajczyk and accordionist Iwo Jedynecki finish with a flourish in a special concert in the high school band room today. Known for innovative renditions of classical works, Duo brought music from their Polish homeland to KS Maui, adding pieces from around the world for this special concert.
