Jadon “Kamakana” Ishiki is currently a sophomore at Kamehameha Schools Maui. He is inquisitive and ambitious and tries to use his knowledge to understand the world around him. Kamakana is interested in subjects including biology, music, public speaking, and journalism. He aims to attend Yale University, potentially double majoring in genetics or cellular studies and communications with a minor in Korean language. In his first year in Ka Leo O Nā Koa, he hopes to learn more about his school and share his love for writing with others.
