Hey everyone! I’m back for round II of journalism, but as a sports editor this year. Don’t fret, I’ll try to get to everyone’s sporting events the best I can. One person can only do so much. I am excited to take a more involved position in this year’s Ka Leo o Na Koa, instead of being a simple staff writer. It is my sworn goal this year to take back the best in state award, as well as becoming most valuable staffer. You may not know this, but I was nominated for this honor as a mere Journalism I staffer last year. I am looking forward to almost getting trampled by football players, getting hit in the face by a volleyball, and fitting a camera lens through a chain link fence to get that softball picture! Students of KS Maui, I will strive to bring you the best sports coverage during my final year here.
