Ka Leo o Nā Koa

Mehana Lee, News Editor

Senior Mehana Lee plans to bring a new persepective to Ka Leo o Nā Koa during her second year in journalism and as the news editor.

After experiencing what it’s like from reporting at big events to standing on the sidelines taking action pictures, she knows the dedication and work it takes to have a successful newspaper and Web site.

As always, the expectations are held high and the pressure is even more intense with the smaller staff this year. But that won’t stop the Ka Leo o Nā Koa team! We’re reaching for better and higher heights this year.

During her free time, she loves exploring the beauty of her island home, Maui, and meeting new people. Her future plans consist of becoming a magazine editor by day and a fashion/entertainment/art/food/travel blogger by night, traveling the world and growing sunflowers in her front yard.
